Delight Bowl
Not a fancy restaurant but at the time that we ordered these very young kids were helping out, was very cute.Food was decent, no tables for large groups but they combined tables for us.Might as well try it if you are in the area.

This place used to be called Silver Sushi. Our whole family always enjoyed the food there. When it closed down not too long ago, we were all very disappointed.We only found out last week when we went to Dan Murphy next door that it re-opened under a new name (Delight Bowl) and we assumed that it was a new owner. Kids love the karage chicken, portions are very generous. Great service! And self-service water and cutleries are great! Overall great experience and will be back.

Ouch $54 for katsu curry (lack of flavour - average) karagee chicken bowl , chicken coating was rock hard hardly any chicken inside (dry) no flavour and sat on top of iceberg lettuce with wedge of lemon and soggy rice , no sauce ...spring rolls like tiny Coles or Woolworths frozen ones . First and last time

We were disappointed when Silver Sushi closed down however what a delight to find that it was replaced with a similar restaurant. I heard the chef from Delight bowl used to work for silver sushi as well?We ordered several dishes:Sambal fish- the sambal was very toned down and fish portion was quite disappointing. Flavour was ok.Crispy squid- yummy and not too oily.Katsu curry- yummy and the usual standard from other Japanese restaurants.Chicken teriyaki bowl and Karaage bowl- we were delighted with the portion size and the flavour!Prices were very reasonable considering their portion size.We'll be back again definitely.20/8/22: We're back again and tried a few other dishes. Karaage curry was delicious, the chicken still juicy and not overly battered and oily. The sambal in the Sambal Saba was definitely spicier this time, but still delicious. Teriyaki salmon was nicely flavoured and not overly sweet. Another good experience.

Delight Bowl
Like other people have mentioned, we were sad that Silver Sushi had closed down and I was very skeptical of this new place. The menu has changed but they still offer a lot of the donburi bowls that Silver Sushi previously offered. We had the takoyaki, chicken katsu curry and the karaage chicken bowl- all were really delicious, fresh, and well worth the price. The only minor negative thing I could say was that the chicken was a little oily but flavours were almost as good as Silver Sushi. We'll be back for sure but hope that the Aircon will be on next time with the entry doors closed. Eating in the warmth and humidity today with flies around us wasn't too nice and we wanted to leave asap.I do hope that many people come back to eat here and hope that they survive the covid madness. It's really nice to know that we still have a good local Japanese restaurant.

Delight Bowl
We ordered 2 karage chicken bowls and one chicken wing bowl. They both came with sauces. There was 2 little kids that helped out as well with the service, it was very cute. The portion was amazing for the price, it was worth it, we had few pieces of chicken left over. We loved the karage, we recommend anyone that wants to go to Delight Bowl. Definitely would come again.
