Ordered a kebab and it was very poorly wrapped. The bread used also had little flavour and was not toasted enough. The paper was fused with the wrap and there was also paper inside the kebab.I would not recommend ordering a kebab here.

Terrible experience here. I ordered kebab with all meats, egg and cheese with extra sauce. After waiting 35min I received my kebab. It did not have an egg nor did it have extra sauce, but the worst part about the whole thing was that it was cold. I ate it in my car straight after receiving. I would think that waiting 35min means they would have at least cooked the food. From what I can only assume, a friend of the server came in 5min after myself placed his order and received his kebab within 10min of ordering. Very unhappy with the all round experience here

Pretty lacklustre, half filled kebab with hardly any topping. Was hoping the first time was just teething issues being new and finding their feet, but unfortunately quality has not improved.

The guy claims that the beef platter is eye fillet. The steak was very very tough and fatty. I think it is skirt at best. Plus it smells funny, possibly off. Steak is going in the bin.Terrible meal, I feel ripped off for $24.95

They have the most wonderful warm and generous hospitality, and they communicate kindly and helpfully as you order and wait. They have a wide variety of options at a very reasonable price ticket. I enjoyed the flavours.However I ordered and two orders that were after mine were served before mine and when mine did come it was cold and clearly looked like it had been sitting there a while. Perhaps they were cooking my partner’s food after they’d cooked mine but mine was disappointing from the stale and coldness of it.I will say they’re cream garlic sauce and hummus is heaven on earth.I think I will be back but will remind them I would like my food hot so they don’t forget about my food again.

I'm not sure when they changed the name but it's now Cairo Cafe instead of Al Basha. Food was good, we had the kibbeh, fattoush salad and mixed kebab with rice along with lemon mint drink. Kebabs were tasty although some of the lamb was very tough and inedible unfortunately, drinks were room temperature not cold and the fattoush salad was ok and could have done with some dressing or at least salt and pepper to be available for use. The rice, kibbeh and meats were overall quite tasty.

New and clean shop, prompt staff service. Fresh tasty meals and good size portions middle eastern food. Try the lamb shank meal was filling and flavourful. Much recommended. Will try the mix platter next visit. 100% halal. Price range seems to be higher end.
