You need to book a table inside or outside, busy restaurant. Friendly staff, great service, great food & cocktails. Atmosphere relaxing, wear neat casuals. Best time to go is just B4 sunset if you like them.

WHERE: Trigg WAWHAT: Beach side dining in a bright contemporary settingOn my last trip to Perth, we headed to the beach.The Island Market is large inside but is sectioned with different seating styles, so it feels intimate still. Large windows allow you to dine while looking over the ocean. We dined on a Tuesday, and the venue was surprisingly busyWe ordered the Chefs 5 Course Tasting Menu offered at $70 per head with a minimum of 2 diningI personally really enjoyed the dishes that served my most fave dessert and least fave the Pork BellyDishes shown:-Honey & Yoghurt Pannacotta w/seasonal fruits, saffron and pistachio-Wood Roasted Pork Belly-Island Pita with Butternut Pumpkin Tahini (seriously good)- Zucchini and Haloumi Fritters-Fried Cauliflower, Green Tahini, Macadamia & Pomegranate-Market Crudo, Tomato, Peppers, Green Olive and Sherry Vinegar

I tried Island Market Trigg on a work trip to Perth. Not being a local I was relying on past google reviews to find a good spot for dinner. Although this place does get its fair share of sub par reviews, my experience here was good. We orders the pita and two dips, the tomato and strawberry salad, corn cobs, roasted eggplant and two glasses of wine. It was a lot of food and reasonably priced. Absolutely loved the strawberry and tomato combo. Not two ingredients I would have thought to put together, but it works. Only feedback would be to not put so much sauce on the corn and a little less mushroom on the eggplant as it dominated the flavour of the dish. Thanks for an enjoyable evening out.

Came here for a work function and across the board there were mixed reviews for the quality of food. While my pork belly and roasted perfectly it was a little tough to cut with the typical butter knives as we weren’t provided with steak knives. Others had chicken and fish and were average at best.That being said the views of the ocean are what set this place apart, though if the food were better, it was be heads above shoulders.

Absolutely delicious food! Every dish we ordered was perfect. Lovely service staff too. Beautifully presented dishes from entree to dessert. Would also recommend their house rosè Pink Plonk. Pricey but you get what you pay for

Order* Pita and cured ocean trout, creme fraiche* Fried local market fish, Manjimup chips, pickled onion* Dandaragan sirloin with beetroot & walnut pickled turnip & fresh horseradish cream* Sticky date, walnut semifreddo, orange caramelThe Pita bread starter was the highlight for me, I love a cured fish plus with creme fraiche those flavours create one of the best medleys for me.Mains were good, although I wasn't the biggest fan of the steak that day.DISCLAIMER: I don't like dates at all but I love sticky date pudding.And it just so happened there were real dates in the sticky date pudding. This was a me problem but just a heads up if you don't like dates but like sticky date pudding, not all pudding will have no actual dates.I did like trying Island Market out and sitting across the ocean, they were spot on with the views.

Such a beautiful location with great food. Service was hit and miss in my experience but the vista is worth it. A lovely restuarant with panoramic views of the Indian Ocean, pleasing decor and complete with morning champagne. The second round of coffee never arrived and my blue swimmer crab omelette came when my guest had finished their breakfast. I would go back for sure.
