The octopus was bland, flavorless and just greasy, the chicken in the salad was rubbery and equally bland, the corn on the cob was, well ... Very old I guess. I appreciate this is a very remote area and food needs to come in from very far but other establishments in the immediate vicinity pull off great food quite easily. On a more positive note: The homemade bread was great and the deserts looked amazing as well. I suspect there's a great pastry chef hidden behind/inside a chef who needs to go back to basics or rekindle the love for cooking.

On a recent trip to Exmouth my wife, my daughter & I were fortunate enough to stumble" upon 5 Kennedy Street Restaurant. We had been looking for a different venue to eat at but could not get a table.We were the lucky ones. Great quality food turned out from a very small but very efficient kitchen. A really central location that's easy to find. Fantastic service from Dexter & his team. My daughter has a severe nut allergy & Dexter went to great pains to make sure that anything we ordered for her was going to be safe. Thanks Dexter

Atmosphere was good, live music was a hit, wait staff were trying, meals were not good.
