The Lakeside Restaurant & Bar
An absolute delightful place! Took my wife to celebrate her birthday here and we do not regret it one bit. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. Staff were very friendly and the views to the lake and the surrounding forest was breathtaking. Will definitely be back to enjoy this amazing spot!

Looks nice but I suggest you book well in advance or you wont get a table.We stayed at the resort and this place was booked out well in advance so couldn't get a meal there. Not even breakfast. Disappointing as we had to go into town for a meal and appoint a skipper. Spoilt the holiday a bit. Couldn't comment on the food but the service when trying to book a meal was a bit lacking.

Nice building and atmosphere. Menu was more suited to a fine dining restaurant as the menu had limited choice and has not been changed in a while. Those parents with children have a limited choice. I think a more wholesome menu would serve better like, chicken dishes, an upgraded type burger, fish and chips etc. A lot of people who we spoke with said they would have eaten more times with a more varied choice. For breakfast I had a Turkish roll toasted with bacon and a fried egg. The egg was solid and the bacon hard and no butter on the role and quite cold. The evening meal also cool in temperature.We had porterhouse steak with a Truffle mash and a duck confit.Total cost evening meal $110.00. The staff were short on the ground a one lady was rushed of her feet.But, the resort is a great place to visit .

Nice location, junior service staff is fine. Cost per head for a party of 4 came to $40 with 1 drink and a kid's meal. Pork belly has good crackle, flavour complemented well by carrot and caramelized pear. Scotch fillet was perfectly cooked. Kid's meal was fine. Duck confit was dry and lentils was tasteless so this dish was a fail to put it simply. Overall, it's overpriced for what we ordered and I will not be coming back.

Walked in from a big day on the Bibbulmun Track to a warm welcome even though I looked like I’d just walked 20km. The place has a warm vibe and a spectacular outlook. The staff were super welcoming and friendly. I ordered a bowl of lentil soup and cheese bread for lunch which was superb and perfect for a cold day. Stayed for a while just chilling and never felt any pressure to move on. Great place, highly recommended!

I thought I would surprise my wife and kids with a wonderful meal here and booked a couple of weeks in advance. Well it was a joke really. Sat down at 7:10pm on a Sat night and the restaurant was about a third full. We ordered food at 7:15, our children ordered meatballs and spaghetti the other stake & chips nothing special! Well one hour later I complained at how long it is taking, the waiter said it’s just a few minutes away then 25 minutes later I complained again. They said they are a bit busy but the place was at this time nearly empty. For a premium restaurant it was one of the worst, saying that the waiters were very pleasant and friendly.They obviously take bookings beyond their capabilities.It would have been nice to get some sort of discount but nothing was offered.The dishes were well presented but not hot and lacking in quality and flavour.

This restaurant let's the whole karri valley resort down.We've come here on numerous occasions and every single time, we've been left waiting at the door entrance for a staff member to acknowledge us.It's worse in the mornings, the staff members making the coffee literally look at you and then ignore you, not as much as even a smile or a morning

Very cozy feel in the restaurant with a fire place in the middle & a beautiful view looking over the lake. The service was very friendly & inviting. The food was fresh & tasty so it was overall a great experience.
